The Cleveland Metroparks has tightened procedures for handling money from the sale of the district's recycled materials. Instead of turning over cash to a parks employee involved in exchanging recyclables, the vendor is now required to mail a check and a detailed statement to the Metroparks treasurer that will be reconciled with the employee's receipt.
